Welcome to A.S.K. Language Arts (Grades 3–5)
Reading with comprehension, Thinking with skill, and Writing with a plan.
Do you have a child, aged 8-12, who reads through a book but, if asked questions about it, doesn’t quite know what to say? Or, if they are asked to put their thoughts into writing, they don’t know how to get started? If so, you are not alone! This literature-based language arts program was created with these dilemmas in mind. Imagine how empowering it is for a student to know what questions to ask themselves rather than to be dependent on someone else to ask them!
In these 64 video-based lessons, Miss Lungren explains each concept, guides the student step-by-step, and teaches them how to evaluate their own writing.

The Lūminé A.S.K. Framework
    • A – Analyze: We A.S.K. to analyze a text or topic using critical thinking skills to master reading comprehension.
    • S – Support: We A.S.K. to support a main idea or claim with textual evidence and logical reasoning.
    • K – Know: We A.S.K. to know how to map out and write structured paragraphs and essays for different purposes.
